Initial Advanced Cardiac Life Support training for clinical emergency response.

Healthcare experience is typically expected, as ACLS is designed for medical professionals. Delegates should be qualified to provide high-quality basic life support (HQ-BLS) and be able to interpret basic ECG readings. An understanding of basic resuscitation pharmacology and medication preparation is also required. Participants must have the necessary physical and cognitive ability to perform the required skills, including CPR, which involves physical effort and kneeling on the floor.
